We are seeking an Account Manager & Account Executive to balance relationship management with new business acquisition. This role is 60% farming (nurturing and growing existing accounts) and 40% prospecting & closing (converting prospects into new clients).
Account Management - Farming (60%)
- Relationship Ownership : Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, becoming their trusted technology advisor
- Account Growth : Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts (additional projects, new departments, enhanced services)
- Client Success : Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions with current clients
- Issue Resolution : Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or challenges
- Collaboration : Partner with delivery teams to ensure project success and identify future technology needs
- Contract Management : Manage renewals and negotiate expanded scopes of work
- Referral Generation : Leverage satisfied clients for referrals and introductions to new prospects
- Account Analytics : Track and report on account health metrics and growth opportunities
Business Development - Prospecting & Closing (40%)
Lead Conversion : Transform qualified leads and prospects into signed contractsDiscovery & Needs Assessment : Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand client pain points and requirementsSolution Presentation : Deliver compelling presentations that connect technical solutions to business outcomesProposal Development : Collaborate with technical teams to create accurate project scopes and competitive proposalsContract Negotiation : Navigate pricing discussions, terms, and project timelines to successful closureRequirements
Must Have :
3-5 years B2B account management and sales experiencePrevious work at software development companies (internal products or client services)Strong IT background and understanding of agile development practicesAdvanced written and verbal English communication skillsExecutive presence and ability to present to C-level stakeholdersProven track record growing accounts and closing new businessNice to Have :
