Descripción del trabajoCurrently pursuing an enthusiastic, adaptable, and Research Analyst reporting to our LatAm Deal Origination team. The ideal candidate would share our vision, adopt, and represent our company values with a high level of commitment. The role is varied, but day to day, involves a high level of planning, coordinating, and internal communication with our LatAm Team. Fluency in English. Track record of inquisitiveness and curiosity. Knowledge and / or interest in the software and technology sectors. Moderate Microsoft Excel skills and able to manipulate data from multiple sources. Pursuit of professional accounting or finance designation (CFA / Accountancy) M&A and Investment Experience – Opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced M&A environment with many transferable skills. Learn how transactions are sourced through to close at one of world’s largest acquirers of software businesses. Exposure and practical application of M&A tools and data sources.

As the Research Analyst for the M&A team you will have a critical role in supporting our M&A process, gaining valuable experience during your time with us.
What will you be doing :
- Analyze Acquisition Targets – Understand and use our preferred investment profile for our initial screening of prospects.
- Carve Out – Deconstruct large multinational corporations and identify carve out opportunities.
- Big Data – Monitor, manage and maintain data quality in our CRM to track key KPIs & dashboards.
- Research – Perform market research in new verticals and new geographies in support of our continued growth.
- M&A Advisors – Map out all relevant software M&A advisors from international to regional boutique.
- Data sources – Identify & analyze relevant third-party data sources, industry lists and trade conferences.
- Supporting M&A transactions – Aid due diligence (market analysis, contract review, financial analysis) and assist with preparing our investment memorandums.
- Ad Hoc – research projects with Business Development Executives and Group Leaders to support M&A efforts.
